“When Worlds Evaporate” 1st solo exhibition at The Other Room, Cairo, Egypt.

Currently, I’m in the Air Artist in Residence Program at Lower Austria in Krems till the 11th of May 2025.

Pleased to announce my first solo show “On Fallen Lands” at Gypsum gallery, Cairo, Egypt.

From the 10th of April till the 14th of May 2025.

I will exhibit “What is Beyond you” project along with Nadia Kaabi Linke at the Miart fair 2025, from the 4th of April till the 6th of April, represented by Galerie Doris Ghetta.

Excited to have my first dual exhibition, "Across a Velvet Horizon" with Nada Barka at Tabari Art Space in Dubai.

Opening will be on the 20th of Feb 2025.

I feel truly grateful to have had the opportunity to work with CBK Zuidoost in Amsterdam, to produce the "Whispers from Chaotic Waves" project, 2024.

This project was part of a group exhibition featuring works by (inter)national artists who took part in BijlmAIR, CBK Zuidoost’s artist-in-residence program.

I’m lucky to be a guest lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, running a workshop with students, part of the workshop will be held between the academy and the Museum of Natural History Vienna.

During November, for two weeks, I’ll be in the Caravane Ouadane Residency in the Sahara of Mauritania to film "The Seven Lands” with Saif Fraj under the collective "South of Ajdabia"

I'm thrilled to announce the launch of my publication, "What is Beyond You / انا لا اعرف" on the 31st of October at CIC’s new home in Garden City.

The event will feature a conversation with the artist Mahmoud Khaled.

I’m happy to receive the Culture resource “Mawred Al Thaqafy” travel grants to participate in the Caravan Ouadane Residency in the Mauritanian desert to shoot “The seven lands” film, which is co-directed with Saif Fraj under the collective "South of Ajdabia"

I'm delighted to be part of the 9th Biennale Gherdeina under the name "The Parliament of Marmomts" in Dolomites, Italy, from the 31st of May to the 1st of September 2024. It's curated by Lorenzo Giusti and Marta Papini as associate curator and it takes place in various venues, My Project "What is beyond you" is in Museum Gherdeina.

The ongoing project “The blue wadi: resurrection” will be exhibited at W139 in Amsterdam this April, Initiated by Hend Samir and Afra Eisma.

I’ll be in residency at CBK Zuidoost, Amsterdam from the 25th of March till the 11th of May.

From 16th of February to 17th March, “I’ve Known Rivers” film will be part of the ARCHIVE&RESEARCH: SACRED STORIES: Relatos Sagrados exhibition, organized by A FANTASIA MATRIXIANA and hosted by the Clovis Salgado Foundation/Palácio das Artes in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, 2024.

We're so honored to be part of the MENA film festival, on the 30th of Jan our film "I've Known Rivers" will be screened in Vancouver at 16:15 at VIFF center studio theater.

Next Monday on the 6th of November I will moderate a talk titled “ Art and the Anthropocene”, as part of the Rozanama 9 parallel program, at Tahrir Culture Center, AUC.

Next Saturday on the 24th of June "I've known rivers" will be shown at Kunstverein in Hamburg as a part of the MASS Alexandria Summer Programme, curated by Berit Schuck, THE EDUCATIONAL WEB

"I've known rivers" film is in Zawya cinema for short films in Cairo, Egypt. The last rescreened at Zawya Cinema on the 12th, 13th, 15th, and 16th of May. 

We are thrilled as a " South of Ajdabiya collective" Saif Fardj from Tunisia and Esraa Elfeky from Egypt, to announce that our film "I've Known Rivers" received the special mention award for the short films in the 5th edition of Gabes Cinema Fen in Tunisia.

I’ll be part of the group show “Where do we go from here? Possible Futures” exhibition, curated by Marwa Benhalim as part of the TASAWAR curatorial studies program, Bir Lahjar, Tunis.

Happy to announce that I’ll be an artist in the Pro-Helvetia residency in Switzerland, 2023.

My film “The 3-day effect” will be screened in “Dy-Sync 17” alongside Malak Helmy and Ahmed El Ghoneimy Curated by Ahmed Refaat at CIC, Cairo, Egypt.

I’ll be part of the “Extended Ecologies” program between Medrar (Cairo) and Critical Media Lab (Basel). 

I’m happy that I received Gypsum bursaries and I’ll work on publication project in the upcoming 6 months.

The three awardees will be mentored by each of: artist Mahmoud Khaled, artist and curator Maha Maamoun, and writer Yasmine El Rashidi to develop their project and research further during the 6 months of the bursary program. A public event will be held at the conclusion of the program, in which awardees will present their projects to the general public. The bursary program runs till May/June 2023.
