What is beyond you (work in progress)

I’m developing a project that is inspired by explorations in the landscape. The project discusses natural history field studies, seeking specific knowledge of the life cycle of rare species of butterflies. It’s an extension of my research trips to St.Catherine in Egypt.

I’m seeking to document and compare these insects' behaviors and life cycles.

It’s a way for me to look for access to the diverse worlds that are mediated through the insects and their bodies, this kind of being in a landscape and a sense of belonging to a cosmos.

I’m curious about surviving and adapting in catastrophe situations, and this exists a lot in fauna worlds, so I like to morph into non-human rare bodies (like butterflies) to explore terms like surviving, adaptation, and extinction. I trace the rare butterflies in different lands to study them.

It’s an installation of film, drawings and sculpture.
